Trade Assistant

Location: Kilburn, SA
Positions Available: Trade Assistants (Multiple Roles)
Vacancies: Multiple (Fettlers, Machine Operator, Welding Support)
Assignment Length: Ongoing

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday (Hours depend on department and role)

Pay Rates: $30 - $37 (Pay rate based on experience and role assigned)

Key Responsibilities (role dependent):

• Fettling and finishing galvanised products

• Inspecting products for quality and compliance

• Using hand and power tools, including angle grinders

• Assisting with aluminium and MIG welding tasks

• Machine operation (drilling, cutting, linishing)

• FRP assembly and stainless steel cleaning

• Manual handling and product assembly

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or trade assistant roles

• Experience using hand and power tools (angle grinders highly regarded)

• Welding or machine operation experience (advantageous)

• Valid Driver’s Licence

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling

• Able to pass a full medical

• Strong safety awareness and reliability
